What I collect and why
Information you give me directly: When you fill out a contact form, book a session, or join my email list, I collect your name, email address, and any other information you choose to provide. I use this to communicate with you and deliver what you signed up for. Nothing else.
Information collected automatically: This site collects basic analytics data — pages visited, time on site, general location, device type. I use Squarespace's built-in analytics for this. I do not sell this data.
Payment information: Payments are processed through Stripe. I do not store your credit card information. Stripe's privacy policy governs how your payment data is handled. You can review it at stripe.com/privacy.
Email list If you subscribe through this website, you're opting in to receive communication from Salty Insight via Squarespace Email Campaigns. If you subscribe to the Salty Insight Substack, you're opting in to receive writing and occasional offers there. Each platform manages your subscription separately. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email. I do not share your email address with third parties.
Cookies This site uses cookies through Squarespace for basic functionality and analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may not work as intended.
Third parties I use the following third-party tools that may have access to limited data:
Squarespace — hosting, analytics, email campaigns, and scheduling
Substack — email newsletter platform
Stripe — payment processing
Each has their own privacy policy governing their data practices.
Your rights If you're in the EU or California, you have specific rights regarding your personal data including access, correction, and deletion.
If you're in Oregon — the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act gives you similar rights. To exercise any of these rights, email Hello@SaltyInsight.com and I'll respond within 30 days.
Data retention I keep your information only as long as necessary to deliver services or as required by law. If you want your data deleted, email Hello@SaltyInsight.com and I'll take care of it.
Children This site is not intended for anyone under 18. I do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Changes to this policy If something material changes, I'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.

The short version By using this website or purchasing services from Salty Insight, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site.
Services Salty Insight offers coaching, strategy sessions, and educational content. Coaching is not therapy, counseling, or mental health treatment. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed professional.
Results from coaching vary. I don't guarantee specific financial or business outcomes. What I guarantee is that I'll show up fully and do the work with you.
Payment Payment is due at the time of booking via Stripe invoice unless we've made a separate arrangement in writing. All prices are in USD. Invoices are issued through Stripe and must be paid before services begin.
Refund policy Session cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are non-refundable. Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance can be rescheduled once. Coaching packages are non-refundable once work has begun.
Scheduling Sessions are scheduled through the Salty Insight website via Squarespace scheduling. It is your responsibility to show up at the scheduled time. Missed sessions without notice are forfeited.
Intellectual property Everything on this site — writing, frameworks, methods, content — belongs to Salty Insight and Alisha Whaley. You may share with attribution. You may not reproduce, resell, or repurpose without written permission.
Limitation of liability Salty Insight is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this site or services. Total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the service in question.
Governing law These terms are governed by the laws of the state of Oregon, USA. Any disputes will be handled in Linn County, Oregon.
