MY STORY
I’ve always built my life with intention — even when the path made people tilt their head and say, “Wait… you did what?”
One day I found myself on my knees in my bedroom sobbing uncomfortably hard. I had sunk so deep into survival that my ability to function at all had reached a tipping point.
I cried out for help. Whispering to the God I knew existed and begged to be rescued. Surrendering my pride and will. I wasn’t enough to fix who I’d allowed myself to become.
(Spoiler: Life radically shifted in that moment of surrender.)
I was homeschooled, left school at sixteen, earned my GED, and enrolled in a local college graphic arts program. By nineteen, I had an Associate of Applied Science in Graphic Arts and a strong appreciation for structure, clarity, and making things work the way they’re supposed to.
(I’ve been allergic to chaos ever since.)
In 2011, I became a mom to twins. From that moment on, motherhood came first — always. Somewhere in all that I learned that survival had quietly become my entire identity and (me) was nowhere to be seen.
Within months, I found myself divorced, learning what it means to be a co-parent (no rule book for that one), and knew deep in my gut that it was time to lean in and do the hard work of unlearning survival as my entire identity.
This work is the most difficult work I’ve ever had to do, but the freedom and peace discovered is beyond words.
THIS is what I’m here to share with the world—How to unlearn survival so that you can receive abundant thriving instead.
OFFICIAL BIO
Alisha Whaley helps thoughtful, capable women recognize the survival patterns shaping their lives so they can begin living with clarity, stability, and intention.
Her work is rooted in her own experience of breaking out of survival mode—learning how patterns formed in difficult seasons continue to influence how we think, respond, and make decisions long after those seasons have passed.
With over 10 years of experience guiding herself through growth, identity shifts, and real-life transitions, Alisha is known for her calm presence and her ability to see what others often miss.
She doesn’t give step-by-step instructions.
She asks the right questions, reflects what’s actually happening, and helps women come back to a place of clear, grounded decision-making.
Clients walk away with a deeper understanding of themselves, a stronger sense of internal stability, and the ability to move forward without constantly second-guessing. Free from the hold survival has.
And from there, everything begins to change.
